Refrigerated Container

Description

Refrigerated containers (Reefer Container) are used to transport goods that are sensitive to temperatures. There are 10-foot, 20-foot, 40-foot and 45-foot modifications of such containers. Refrigerators, as well as ordinary dry cargo containers, are transported by various types of sea, rail and road transport.

In addition to the fact that refrigerated containers are transport containers, they can be used as separate stationary refrigerating chambers.

Specifications

The refrigerated container consists of a body and a refrigeration unit. The thermal insulation of the marine refrigerated container is made using polyurethane foam: walls and doors are stainless steel sandwich panel with a thickness of 100 mm; the ceiling of the container has a thermal insulation of 150 mm; floor insulation - 100 mm. The floor of the container is made of T-shaped aluminum profile for air circulation and can withstand the load of a forklift. The refrigerated container doors open 270°, which is convenient for loading and unloading goods. To ensure tightness, the doors of refrigerated containers around the perimeter are equipped with sealing rubber and special locking locks.

The refrigerated container is equipped with a refrigeration unit, which allows maintaining the required temperature inside the container in a wide range of ± 25°C, ± 35°C or ± 45°C. The main global manufacturers of refrigerated containers: Thermo King, carrier, Daikin, Star Cool.
